KIWIdesign once again proves professionalism when it comes to their Oculus Quest 2 accessories.
In addition to having already purchased their VR desktop stand and their 3 meter USB-C cable with the 90 degree connection to connect my headset to PC, I also already owned the previous Silicone Grips Cover. Of all the Grips Cover that I had, I think KIWIdesign's Grips Cover were the best accessory I've ever bought! The materials are great, the rubber is nice and thick, and the adjustable strap is very comfortable and with its rough surface it made the controller stick to my hands, so that I could move my hands without having to worry too much about destroying the TV or hurting a friend.
I even thought it was difficult to make things better until I had to replace the batteries from my controllers. I use my Oculus Quest 2 a lot, changing the batteries often but I never thought about the fact that every time I will have to remove the cover, then insert the strap again(also because those of the competition products are all done so, up to this moment there was not much choice).
With this new version of the Grips Cover it seems KIWI design has read my mind. When I saw it on the official website I couldn't believe it: they had solved the only defect of an almost perfect product!
KIWI design has probably taken the suggestions of its customers (which is no mean feat these days) and created a product of absolute excellence. The flap is sturdy and you can't even feel it when you touch it, it's as if it wasn't there.
The set of this new Silicone Grip Cover is composed of its usual cover that fits perfectly to the controller and the flap specially designed by the staff at KIWI design to replace the original Oculus', in which there is a tab that will remain behind the battery that you insert, so that when it's time to replace battery, you just need to open the rubber 'door' and pull towards you the tab that will throw out the batteries.
