The KIWI design K4 Comfort Head Strap is our latest Quest 3 elite strap. Many of you might be curious about the differences between the K4 and original KIWI design Comfort Head Strap(also known as KIWI design Upgraded Elite Strap). To borrow a phrase from Apple: "The only thing that's changed is everything." However, one thing remains unchanged: the comfort.
New Appearance:
The first and most obvious improvement is the appearance. The K4 features a slimmer back and a stealth knob design, giving it a neat and streamlined look that better fits the vibe of the Meta Quest 3. In fact, compared to the original KIWI design Comfort Head Strap, the K4 is about 30% slimmer while maintaining the same level of comfort.
The rear head support and the cushion have been thickened and now feature an adaptive fit. Additionally, the mounting part of the rear head support is now flexible, allowing it to better accommodate different head shapes. Through meticulous design, we use the same black color for the inner side of the head strap as the rear head support, making the entire head strap look slimmer and more lightweight. Additionally, we cleverly positioned the knob on the inner side and used the same black color to create the stealth knob.
The stealth design of the knob blends harmoniously with the headset’s design, maintaining a clean and modern look and enhancing comfort when lying down by providing a smooth, uninterrupted surface, eliminating any potential discomfort. Furthermore, its ergonomic design allows for easy and precise adjustments, ensuring an optimal fit every time.
Upgraded Flip-Up Hinge:
We have upgraded the head strap’s signature KIWI design 52° flip-up hinge. Compare to the original comfort strap, the hinge now offers smoother dampening, providing better support for the flip-up operation of the Meta Quest 3.
New Adaptive Rear Head Support:
Unlike the fixed rear head support mounting on the original comfort strap, the rear head support of our new comfort head strap features an 4-degree adaptive adjustment, ensuring an effortless customization experience that accommodates various head shapes.
