After years of research and development, we have brought back the halo-style head strap. This time, we are back with numerous innovative designs. Meet the KIWI design H4 Boost Halo Strap with Battery!
Compare to our Quest 2 halo strap, we introduced the design of Distance Converter and Headset Raiser to our H4 Boost Halo Batter Strap innovatively. We also use flexible materials on the mounting mechanism of fore and rear head support, making them support self-adaptive adjustments. With Distance Converter, you can adjust the distance between the headset and your face, maxing out the FOV and minimized facial pressure.
The benefits of headset raiser are stability and easy to adjust. One of the common drawback of halo head strap is that its less stable than the elite-style head strap. Most halo straps have either no connection or only soft connection at the middle of the headset. So the headset trend to more wobbling during intense gaming and quick head turn. This can be annoying and distracted. However, the H4 Boost are able to minimize this wobble by having a hard connection with the headset. Moreover, we also design an adjust mechanism called Headset Raiser. As its name, it can adjust the height of the headset to make it suitable for more people.
Like the KIWI design K4 Boost, the H4 Boost also equipped with dual PD chips. This allows the H4 Boost take up to 45w input and fast charging both the Quest 3/3S and the strap battery by a single cable. It takes 2 hours to fully charge both the Quest 3/3S and the H4 Boost, allows you to charge 60 minutes and play 2.5 hours.
Another unique feature of H4 Boost is that you can use headsets without facial interface. This is a game changer for many use cases. The major functions of the facial interface is block the light and provides more immersive experience, meanwhile it can also provides some support of the headset. However, for the use case like mixed-reality apps, you actually don't need to be immersive. It also provides the capability of interfaceless for light use cases like media consumption.
